I have to eat candies in 2's. Most particularly I have to eat M&M's, Reese's Pieces, Smarties, etc... (anything small and round) in 2's. If I get to the end of a package and there is only one left I will give it away or throw it away. I will not eat it.
Also, I made cookies the other day and I melted some chocolate chips to make little snadwiches out of them. I wound up with way more chocolate to spread than I actually needed. Once the cookies were done I looked at the leftover chocolate and couldn't throw it out. I considered my options and........I ate it.

Precisely what I would have done with the leftover chocolate too. Once we had carmel that just didn't turn out so we chopped up apples and ate the carmel over apples.
Ah, such SWEET confession is good for the soul.
I totally get the two candies thing! (Especially M&M's) I, too, need to eat them two at a time. Usually with one in the left side of my mouth and the other on the right. But... I can't imagine throwing/giving an odd one away. The answer: You simply bite it in half, place one half in the right side of your mouth, the other half in the left side of your mouth, and enjoy!!!
I too have the 'have to eat some candies in two' thing. I too would have eaten the chocolate. I mean what else would you do.... you can't throw out perfectly good chocolate. That would be a chocolate sin. Haha. See you Monday.
Good tip Traca! I'll have to try that next time.
If I'm eating a handful of M&Ms or Smarties, I have to sort them by colors. Then I get groups of one of each color, and save as many of those groups as I can, and eat up the incomplete groups---smallest groups to largest. Rainbow order is big with me, so I eat them from red to purple (neutrals on the ends). :-) I think candy brings out all the habits of childhood.
